It doesn't seem like we'll have to wait too much longer for the return of un poisson out of the water series.
'Emily in Paris' is back - very soon. Season three pictures have dropped this afternoon, showcasing the return of all of our favourites (and of course, Sylvie dropping one hell of a death stare - probably to the titular character).
The Lily Collins-led series will see the return of the series heavy-hitters, including Lucas Bravo's Gabiriel, Camille Razat's Camille, Ashley Park's Mindy, Lucien Laviscount's Alfie, Samuel Arnold's Julian, Bruno Gouery's Luc and the aforementioned Sylvie (played by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu).
Take a look at the fresh pics below, featuring all sorts of new fashion for us to drool over.
Last time we caught up with the ensemble cast, Emily had a very big decision to make - does she stay in Paris and join this new venture with Sylvie, Julian and Luc? Or is she tempted to return to Chicago with her very pregnant mentor Madeline (Kate Walsh)? It really doesn't seem surprising that oui, Emily is indeed staying in Paris.
However, there's also that unfortunate and rather messy love triangle (or is it now considered a love rectangle?) between Emily, Gabriel, Camille and Alfie. Alfie was due to move back to London, but wants to make it work with Emily, potentially meaning they're going long-distance; meanwhile, Emily was on her way to tell Gabriel her true feelings when - quel dommage! - Camille was busy moving her stuff into his apartment, the two rekindling their love (even though both women agreed they'd stay away from Gabriel).
The Darren Star ('Sex and the City') creation has been guaranteed a fourth season on Netflix, so expect there to be some ending in sight as this third season progresses. The previous two seasons were released in October 2020 and December 2021, so dare we guess that 'Emily in Paris' season three might be released in November? Let's wait and see.
