The trailer for 'Death to 2020', which is coming to Netflix this weekend, has arrived online.
'Death to 2020' is a mockumentary and "comedic event" from Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones, who are the creators of 'Black Mirror'. Thus you can expect a similarly black comical tone from this latest.
It's got a star-studded cast, featuring the likes of Samuel L Jackson, Hugh Grant and Lisa Kudrow.
Other cast additions include 'Stranger Things' star Joe Keery, Leslie Jones and Kumail Nanjiani. Cristin Milioti, Diane Morgan and Samson Kayo round out the cast.
They play fictional characters who discuss (and mock) the events that have characterised this insane year.
While Grant's character is historian Tennyson Foss (who he describes as "repellent"), Kudrow takes on the role of non-official spokesperson Jeanetta Grace Susan. Tracey Ullman plays the Queen and Laurence Fishburne narrates.
Other characters include a reporter, a scientist, a CEO of a tech company, and a behavioral psychologist.
The synopsis for it reads: "A year whose story couldn’t be told until now, because it was still happening."
'Death to 2020' drops on Netflix this Sunday, December 27th. Check out more which you can look forward to on Netflix this Christmas here.
