Fresh off the back of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 15, Charlie Day stars in the upcoming romantic comedy 'I Want You Back' alongside actor and comedian Jenny Slate.
The movie follows Peter (Day) and Emma (Slate), two strangers who bond over both being broken up with. They then make a pact to help each other get back with their exes, played by Gina Rodriguez ('Jane the Virgin') and Scott Eastwood ('The Fate of the Furious'), by sabotaging their new relationships.
The trailer shows Day and Slate plotting and going about ruining these new relationships through whatever means necessary. Lo and behold, it also hints that maybe the two are more suited to each other than their exes.
'I Want You Back' also stars Mason Gooding ('Booksmart'), Dylan Gelula ('Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'), Jami Gertz ('The Neighbors'), Isabel May ('Young Sheldon'), and Luke David Blumm ('The Sinner'). The film's director is Jason Orley. The script is from Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, the writing duo behind the coming of age rom-com 'Love, Simon'.
