Netflix released a teaser trailer for the new season, which sees a return of The Fab Five. This year, they're off to Austin in the Lone Star State.

Antoni, Bobby, Jonathan, Karamo, and Tan will return on December 31 and, honestly, what better way to bring in the new year then binge-watching some incredible makeovers from the team.

The trailer features the lads in their most fashionable cowboy attire, re-introducing themselves to the world since their last full season aired back in summer 2020.

In previous seasons, the guys travelled to Atlanta, Kansas City, Philadelphia. They also went international with a special season in Japan. Every season features some incredibly heart-warming moments from people seeking their help. Now they're back in the good old U.S of A for their sixth season.

Showrunner Jennifer Lane said, "'Queer Eye' loves to celebrate great American cities and Austin fits this criteria in a big way."

"Texas and Austin are rich culturally and have many diverse, relatable, complex layers. Austin and its surrounding communities are home to a wealth of our favourite kind of stories — ones that are not often told. And, to top it off, it's fun to see The Fab 5 in cowboy boots!"

The season began filming in March 2020 but should down due to the pandemic. Shooting resumed in spring of this year.

Lane added, "Everyone spent so much time alone during 2020, having the 'Queer Eye' family come together again in the spring of 2021 was like a big, long, overdue, much-needed hug."
