As you can imagine, navigating the long arm of the law as a 6 foot 7 green superhero has its setbacks. But this show is hilarious — both intentionally and unintentionally. We just don’t know if we’ll ever get over seeing a green, CGI 8 foot tall Mark Ruffalo, especially when having grown up knowing the '13 Going on 30' version.
If, like us, you're already the two episodes deep into 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', you've probably been bewildered more than a few times; whether it's by the Hulk cousins Hulk-management retreat or Jameela Jamil's appearance in episode two, the series is just... so bizarre.
And the shocks just keep coming — your favourite rapping sensation is joining the cast, because of course she is. It's Megan Thee Stallion! We're not sure when, or why, or as what, but hey, she's definitely going to crop up somewhere.
Ms. Thee Stallion spoke to The Cut about her pivot into the world of acting off the back of the 'She-Hulk' announcement, "I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer".
Her biggest inspirations are some of the music-to-acting pipeline's biggest advocates, like Queen Latifah and Ice Cube, saying "When I look at them, it inspires me to take it further than just music". She's already dipped her stiletto in the water; she's been a guest star on 'P-Valley'.
Who knows, maybe the rapper will be swapping her Grammys for Oscars in the near future. New episodes of 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' debut on Thursdays and the excitement and uncertainty surrounding Megan's appearance is... really something.
