While we still try to piece together what happened during the season one finale, it appears that we might not have to wait very long until 'Loki' season two (if the internet is to be believed, anyway).

A day after the 'Loki' finale, which has been confirmed to be returning for season two, rumours are hitting the internet that it won't actually be that long until the anti-hero/sci-fi fantasy continues. Apparently, 'Loki' season two might have already been filmed.

Take this with a grain of salt, but we're inclined to believe the hearsay.

There is plenty of evidence showing that it might be the case. First, there are a few scenes that made it into the 'Loki' trailers which we never saw during the first six episodes. If you look at both of these trailers below (no need for skipping, just press play), you'll see King Loki makes an appearance. As he says himself, "Glorious".

Here's the moment in the second trailer:

The second giveaway that 'Loki' season two has already been filmed is something 'Avengers' and 'Agents of SHIELD' actor Clark Gregg said in an interview with Variety. He revealed that Tom Hiddleston was: "Working on 10 or 12 episodes the way Tom Hiddleston told me he was doing [on 'Loki'] with that kind of budget and that Marvel Cinematic production team."

Thirdly, Hiddleston also revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that he was filming 'Loki' during his 40th birthday. With 'Loki' believed to have wrapped filming in 2020, and Hiddleston's birthday on February 9, 2021, the dates don't match up.

Finally, and it's one we missed ourselves, but in our recent interview with director of the series Kate Herron, she told us that she was currently busy in Atlanta "finishing the show". Granted, we spoke to her the week the series premiered on Disney+, but shouldn't the show have been "finished" before then? We might be clutching at straws here, but it's another indication that there's more 'Loki' on the way, and sooner than we might be expecting.

Of course, this could all just be a case of these King Loki scenes getting cut from the six-episode season... Or could they be a clue that season two has already been filmed? Setting up 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'?
