'Hocus Pocus 2' has got to be one of the most highly anticipated sequels out there. After all, it is the ultimate (non-horror) Halloween movie.

As of yesterday - since it was Halloween - Disney Plus announced some new cast additions to 'Hocus Pocus 2', and there's much to get excited about.

Hannah Waddingham, best known for her roles in 'Ted Lasso' and 'Game of Thrones', is among the new cast additions.

So too is Tony Hale, who people will recognise from 'Arrested Development'.

'Veep' star Sam Richardson joins them, as do Belissa Escobedo ('American Horror Stories'), Froy Gutierrez ('Teen Wolf') and Whitney Peak ('Chilling Adventures of Sabrina').

Rounding out the cast are Lilia Buckingham, Juju Brener, Taylor Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.

As previously announced, all three of the Sanderson sisters - Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy - are back for 'Hocus Pocus 2'.

The announcement also revealed two more important updates for fans.

First off, there'll be another face from the first 'Hocus Pocus' movie in the sequel in Doug Jones.

He played Billy Butcherson in the original, but it's unknown whether he'll reprise the part this time around.

Secondly, we also know that we can expect 'Hocus Pocus 2' in autumn of 2022. So right on time for next Halloween...
