Marvel and Disney+ dropped the very first trailer for the upcoming action series and... the reaction is mixed.
While fans were feverishly awaiting the 'She-Hulk' trailer to drop, they weren't expecting such a so-so CGI affair to greet their eyes.
Now officially titled 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', the nine-part Disney+ series will launch this August, and stars Tatiana Maslany as Bruce Banner's cousin Jennifer Walters. Of course, Mark Ruffalo is back as "Smart Hulk", but whether or not this will be the character's final appearance as the Big Green Guy remains to be seen.
Much like 'Hawkeye' from last year, it appears that the baton is very much being handed over to the new generation of Marvel superheroes, with Walters taking the reigns over from Banner in the "big" and "green" category. Ruffalo said himself that he's passing "the banner" over to Maslany so to speak.
Going for more comedy than we've seen thus far in any of the other Marvel Disney+ series, see for yourself how the first official 'She-Hulk' trailer shapes up below.
The CGI looks questionable, right? Well, luckily, it is only May, so Marvel still have at least two months to perfect the animation of She-Hulk. Here's hoping we'll see a drastic change by the time August rolls around.
The series is expected to bring Benedict Wong's Wong from 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' back into the fold, with MCU newcomer Jameela Jamil joining as the series' antagonist, a supervillain named Titania. Plus, Tim Roth, who played Abomination in 'The Incredible Hulk' (the one with Edward Norton), and who appeared briefly in 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' is back.
We're sure with a subtitle of 'Attorney at Law', we might get a couple of other legacy characters return... *cough* Charlie Cox's Daredevil and Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones.
Here's how fans have been reacting to the first 'She-Hulk' trailer.
There's quite the summer in store for Marvel fans, with the release of both 'Ms. Marvel' and 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' on Disney+, and 'Thor: Love and Thunder' in cinemas.
'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', an original series from Marvel Studios, starts streaming August 17 on Disney+.
