'The US Office' is arriving back on Netflix at the beginning of January, less than a year after the show left the streaming service in an exclusivity deal with NBC streaming service Peacock.

Netflix's library is likely to undergo some significant changes in the coming months, what with a number of deals kicking off and expiring from 2021. 'Seinfeld', for example, is due to be added to Netflix globally from 2021, however, there's a question mark over the future of 'Friends'.

Essentially, the fate of 'Friends' stems from HBO Max and WarnerMedia's exclusivity with the show. Right now, HBO Max is only available in the US, and in the US, 'Friends' is only available on HBO Max. Outside of the US, however, Netflix still has the streaming rights to it.

It's the sort of the same deal with 'The US Office'. In the US, NBC's streaming platform Peacock has exclusive rights to the show, whereas outside of the US, it's currently on Prime Video and is returning to Netflix in January.

With that in mind, here's one second from every episode of 'The US Office' to welcome the news.
