Whitney Houston's autopsy has revealed her cause of death was drowning caused by a combination of heart disease and cocaine intoxication.
The singer's body contained traces of cocaine, marijuana, allergy medicine Benadryl, muscle relaxant Flexeril and Xanax, according to results published by The Guardian.
Houston's hotel room contained an open bottle of champagne, prescription medication bottles, loose pills and a small spoon with a "white crystal-like substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper" when it was searched by police upon her death on February 11th.
Kristy McCracken of the Beverly Hills Police Department stated that the singer "possibly overdosed on a narcotic substance, prescription medications, over the counter medications and alcohol" in bath water which was hot enough to have burned her back.
