What the what - the Leaving Cert results are out this week? Didn't they just sit those exams a few days ago when the World Cup was still on? Hmm, well the days are getting shorter and shorter and people are wearing jackets again even though it's still pretty warm outside. Yes, our instincts are telling us that the most exciting and delighting time of year is nearly upon us - back to school time!

The middle of August is funny. You're clinging on to that summery feeling but also starting to plan what new things you'll try when society goes back to normal. September is way better for attempting new year resolutions than January.

That said, the summer calendar was scheduled ages ago and there's still loads to see and do and enjoy as the long, warm days wind down. Try these out for size!
