Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May is set to make a special guest appearance at Dublin's O2 next Sunday January 31st for the closing night of 'We Will Rock You' the hit musical based on the music of his band.
'We Will Rock You' was written by Queen and Ben Elton and has enjoyed worldwide success and acclaim since it debuted in London's West End in 2002. The show on Sunday is not just the last Dublin show, but also the final night of a year-long tour. Insiders are suggesting that May is likely to get and perform with the cast and band on the night, as he has done in Manchester, Sunderland, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh and the rest of the cities on the tour.
The original production at London’s Dominion Theatre is currently playing its eighth year and has been seen by more than ten million people worldwide. The Dominion production is presently booking until October 2010.
Tickets for the remaining Dublin shows are priced €40-€55 from ticketmaster and usual outlets.
