A man who briefly invaded the stage at Sunday night's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles has been arrested. Vitali Sediuk, a Ukrainian television presenter, took to the stage when Jennifer Lopez was presenting Adele with the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the Sediuk, who hosts a show called 1+1 in Ukraine, got into the bash without a ticket and seated himself near to Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, in a seat originally meant for Adam Levine of Maroon 5.
Jennifer Lopez looked incredibly bemused as to who this extra body on stage was, especially when he shouted: "It's such an honour to receive this award. I love you, Adele!"
Sediuk then voluntarily went backstage and was held in custody overnight on suspicion of trespass and it is understood that he will face charges next month.
This isn't a patch on when Jarvis Cocker invaded Michael Jackson's set at the 1996 BRIT Awards, though. Best stage invasion EVER!
