Bono is known to be a huge fan of the Nile Rodgers, even going so far as to send the great man a bouquet of flowers ahead of his recent Vicar Street date with Chic, but now he has gone one step further in his fandom - by getting to perform Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' alongside the legendary guitarist. Check out the fan-shot footage below.
Rodgers, Bono and The Edge were performing at a benefit concert for (Red), Bono's initiative to get large businesses to donate money to the fights against AIDS. The event was a huge success, raising almost €20 million in donations.
A host of famous names were also performing. Bono also covered Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day', alongside Coldplay's Chris Martin, as well as Bowie's 'Let's Dance', but we think that it was the rendition of 'Get Lucky' which got most people in a tizzy.
