American rapper Logic was roundly praised for his recent VMAs performance of the song '1-800-273-8255', which drew attention to suicide prevention awareness and the general importance of mental health and reaching out for help.
However, as we all know, nothing is safe from South Park's clutches and sure enough, the performance has been parodied in the most recent episode of the cartoon.
It sees Cartman - wearing a similar black hoody to Logic's - crash a rally where his classmates are attempting to highlight awareness of distracted driving, singing a very similar song with the lines "Eric, we don’t want you to die/Eric, give life a try".
Watch it below and compare and contrast to the original below that:
Omg this South Park parody of Logic’s 1-800 has me in tears 😂 pic.twitter.com/AstTpm0mkv
