One of the headlining acts at Coachella, OutKast's set at the American festival was a true ode to their hip-hop roots. A wide variety of tracks, certainly a lot more from their work in the 1990's, was played to a surprisingly listless crowd at Coachella 2014. It might have something to do with the technical / feedback issues that plagued a few of their songs, namely our favourite 'SpottieOttieDopalicious'. Staff favourite Janelle Monae joined them onstage for a quick run-through of her smash hit, 'Tight Rope' before leaving just as quickly as she'd arrived.
OutKast are due to play Electric Picnic later this year. Here's hoping the tech issues will be sorted by then. Here's the setlist they performed at Coachella. Odds are it'll be something similar to what they'll play at Electric Picnic.
