It's just days to go until Little Green Cars release their second album 'Ephemera', and the Dublin five-piece have just made the video for their new single available for your viewing pleasure.

'Easier Day' was directed by band member Adam O'Regan, with the assistance of actor/director Hugh O'Conor, and "was inspired by Faye’s opening lyric “I’ve been away for a long time”," according to O'Regan.

He added: "It was shot over the course of three days in Tokyo, in the quiet neighbourhood of Hatsudai, the bustling ward of Shinjuku and the dark underbelly of Golden Gai. We wanted to show a very real side of the city, in order to create a believable sense of life. It was important to us that the story is never fully disclosed, just hinted at.”

The band will also play a free gig at Dublin's Tower Records on Dawson Street on Thursday at 7pm, ahead of the album's Friday release. As well as playing a few tunes, they'll take part in a Q&A hosted by journalist Paul Kimmage. To attend, you'll need a ticket which can be acquired by pre-ordering the album in-store or online now.
