Last week brought the news that LCD Soundsystem are well and truly on the road to releasing a new album after two new tracks were announced on Thursday.
On Saturday, James Murphy and co. debuted the songs - 'Call the Police' and 'American Dream' on Saturday Night Live, where they were the musical guests for the first time ever.
The songs are two of four new songs recently debuted by the New Yorkers at their residency in Brooklyn, the other two being 'Tonight' and 'Emotional Haircut'.
By all accounts, the album is almost finished and Murphy has described it as 'one of the most enjoyable records to make in my life.'
