Yesterday, footage of Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme kicking a photographer in the face mid-gig went viral.
The photographer, Chelsea Lauren, was shooting the band at their Los Angeles gig when Homme kicked her in the face for no apparent reason, sending her to the emergency room.
She has posted an update on her condition - as well as images of a smiling Homme before and after the incident - to Instagram:
Homme has now posted an apology video to Twitter, in which he examines his behaviour and accepts that he needs to make some changes. "Last night at a Queens Of The Stone Age performance, I kicked the camera of a photographer and that camera hit the photographer in the face," he said. "The photographer’s name was Chelsea Lauren.
"I’d just like to apologise to Chelsea Lauren. I don’t have any excuse or reason to justify what I did. I was a total dick and I’m truly sorry and I hope you’re okay. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life and last night was definitely one of them. I apologise for that, and to you.”
