Despite once saying that he would never form a band, Johnny Depp has done just that.

The actor has enlisted help from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry to form Hollywood Vampires, whose debut album is out now.

As you might expect from a bunch of well-connected figures in the music and film worlds, the album features contributions from the likes of Slash, Paul McCartney and Dave Grohl. Even the late, legendary, metal-loving actor Christopher Lee makes an appearance.

The trio have released a teaser for the album which shows Depp noodling around in the studio on the track 'My Dead Drunk Friends.'
