It seems like Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers may have been setting himself up for a fall by posting the below video, but it is for a good cause, after all.
The bassist gave a gorilla by the name of Koko a lend of his instrument at the expense of several 'Anything you can do jokes', but Koko made a fair fist of playing a tune as he looked on.
Fair enough, she wasn't completely successful - but give her another few hours and she'd probably bang out the riff of 'Under the Bridge', no problem.
Flea even signed his bass for Koko - who is the face of the 'Koko & the Gorilla Foundation' animal charity in California - and gave it to her so she can practice.
