The first trailer for a new three-part music documentary series that was executive produced by Jack White, T Bone Burnett and Robert Redford has been aired.
It's called 'American Epic' and will be broadcast on US network PBS next month. The series documents "the music and musicians recorded by talent scouts for major record companies in the 1920s" and is narrated by Redford, while a feature film called 'The American Epic Sessions' will also accompany it, and will document "performances by modern-day musicians recorded on 1920s equipment."
The trailer for the series, which you can see below, also features contributions from the likes of Elton John and rapper Nas, amongst others.
