Earlier this year Foo Fighters announced a competition on their website in which they encouraged fans to send them photographs of their garage, along with a 25 word explanation as to why one of the world's biggest rock bands should play there. Eight winners were chosen. The lucky fans, along with 50 of their friends, were given the most intimate of rock gigs imaginable, along with the chance to perform alongside their heroes. The free concerts took place across the US, from New York to Seattle, where the band play tracks from their latest (and most successful to date) record Wasting Light, mingled with some of their older hits.
