Guinness yesterday announced details of 'Amplify', their new initiative aimed at providing a foundation from which developing Irish bands and artists can flourish. The project represents a long-term commitment from Guinness, who have thrown €1 million towards Amplify, and will give bands free studio time, workshops and a chance to share the stage with some major acts all across the country.

The project was launched yesterday morning in 4 Dame Lane in the company of assembled media, Kodaline, Jonny Quinn of Snow Patrol and Stephen O'Kelly, marketing director for Guinness. Check out our exclusive video featuring a few words from each and learn more about one of the most exciting music initiatives to emerge in Irish music for some times.
