So if you feel like going on an Ed Sheeran hunt, you know where to go. We're pretty sure you could get a dog/pig to sniff him out like truffle. We imagine the scent is similar.
It wasn't exactly bedlam but it was by no means a deal of no consequence when word got out that Ed Sheeran was in Salthill, Galway earlier today, apparently set up in O'Connor's pub recording a video for the song 'Galway Girl' which unfortunately means it's probably going to be a single and therefore forced on our ears a lot more.
Just a normal day of unpacking in the new house and met my fellow new neighbour 😂 thanks for the hello and laugh @edsheeran #galwaygirl pic.twitter.com/Tm610DVhvH

When Ed Sheeran arrives in Salthill it doesn't take long for word to spread that he's here. The crowd is growing! pic.twitter.com/AA2g5YHrbJ

Locals and businesses in the area were quick to share photos and videos of the brouhaha but it doesn't look like Ed stuck around long enough to take any selfies. Probably saving his vocal cords for tomorrow and Thursday night's gigs in Dublin. Bless.
