Talk about a chip off the old block...
It seems that Dave Grohl's 8-year-old daughter Harper has caught the drumming bug from her dad, as he explained at a gig in Iceland over the weekend.
Foo Fighters were playing the Secret Solstice Festival when drummer Taylor Hawkins announced a surprise guest - and Grohl explained that two weeks ago, his offspring had expressed an interest in learning to play drums. “And I said, ‘Do you want want me to teach you?’ She said, ‘Yes'," he explained to the crowd. "And then I said, ‘Do you want to get up in front of 20,000 people in Iceland and play?’ And she said, ‘Yes.’”
He concluded: "So, ladies and gentleman, welcome the next generation... there's another Grohl on the drum set now."
