Coldplay have joined the chorus of many bands who are paying tribute to the victims of Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris.

The band were due to livestream their gig in Los Angeles via TIDAL & KROQ on Friday night ahead of the release of their new album 'A Head Full of Dreams' next month, but the stream was cancelled in the wake of the attacks.

Instead, Chris Martin and co. played a stripped-back set of old favourites for fans, including 'Fix You' and 'Sparks' at the Belasco Theatre in LA. In a statement before the gig, they said "We’ll play a short set of old material so that your journey isn’t wasted. We send our love and prayers to the people of Paris. Love Coldplay."
