As she is wont to do on occasion, Beyoncé released a new track online for free download a few hours ago.
Along with the accompanying video, Formation features a lot of heavy political imagery that alludes to, well, everything that's affecting America - whether it's the Black Lives Matter movement, the fall of New Orleans, police brutality, everything.
The video, which features Beyoncé in New Orleans and standing atop a police cruiser that's slowly submerging, is already racking up huge numbers in just a few short hours.

Beyoncé is due to play tomorrow's half-time show at the Super Bowl alongside Coldplay, however it's unknown if Formation will play a part in her set. Here's hoping.
