Romping through the high water marks of the Sex Pistol's back catalogue and throwing in tracks with related themes, this soundtrack of the forthcoming Julian Temple biopic of the band, does not stand terribly well on its own. Sure, you can't go wrong with Anarchy in the UK, Pretty Vacant and God Save the Queen, but the CD also includes tracks from the Bay City Rollers, David Bowie, the New York Dolls and Roxy Music [as well as the great reggae track 'Skinhead Moonstomp' by Simaryp], and these are fairly jarring, following as they do from Lydon and Co.'s severe sneering.
