Alright, so he runs the label which catapulted Norman Cook into the stratosphere, has DJ'd at the Big Beat Boutique [the club where, legend has it, big beat was born] more times than he could remember, and can knock together a tune or two while he's at it, but invented big beat? Well, he might have a point.
