Considering how long they've been around, how many albums they've released and how much they've toured over the last three decades or more, you might expect that there are very few songs in U2's back catalogue that they haven't played at some point.

On Saturday night, however, the Dubliners played an old song for the first time in 26 years during their show at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Bono and co. have not played the song 'October' - the title track of their 1981 album - live since an Australian tour in 1989.
