Gardai have arrested two members of singer Jason Derulo's entourage on suspicion of the sexual assault of two teenage girls in Cork last night, according to a report in the Irish Times.

The singer attended the city's Savoy nightclub after a concert at Live at the Marquee and it is understood that the two girls - aged 18 and 19 - met several members of Derulo's travelling entourage at the club.

It is believed that the two girls accepted an invitation to return to the band's tour bus, which was parked nearby in the city centre.

The two teenagers contacted gardai at Anglesea Street at approximately 4am and reported that they had suffered a sexual assault on the bus. Gardai then arrested two American nationals, aged in their 30's and 40's, shortly after 4am and they were brought to Bridewell Garda station for questioning.

Both of the men, who haven't been named, are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, allowing the authorities to keep the men in custody for up to 24 hours before releasing or charging them.

Gardai have also seized the singer's tour bus for forensic examination.

Miami native Derulo, 24, was not on the bus at the time of the alleged assaults. The singer is scheduled to play a concert in Ipswich tonight.
