You'd never know it from the music press but Dublin is producing as many good guitar bands as ever and Turn look like they'll soon be holding their own with the best of them. This mini-album collects six tracks from their first three singles and is really just a taster for their debut album proper. Ollie Cole's crooning vocals lend an air of gravitas to these spiky, raucous songs which only occasionally slip into banality. Distinctly promising.
