Now that 2014 is officially done and dusted, figures for the biggest-selling albums and singles of the year have been released.

It'll come as no surprise to hear that Taylor Swift's '1989' was the top-selling album of 2014, with 3.66 million sales edging out the 'Frozen' soundtrack (3.53 million). That's a hell of a lot of people who want to both 'Shake it Off' and 'Let It Go'. Ahem. Sorry.

Pharrell Williams' annoyingly ubiquitous 'Happy' was the top-selling single of 2014, with a whopping 6.45 million downloads overall.
