Who had money on Oasis? Who had Coldplay? Who had The Strokes or Fleetwood Mac? Well, you were all wrong.

If you had Florence and the Machine, it's good news - your ship has come in.

Flo and her band have been named as the replacement for Foo Fighters on Friday night - which will no doubt give her new album 'How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful' a major boost.

She was originally on the bill, anyway - although she was just under Dave Grohl & co. on the Pyramid Stage. Now, however, she has been bumped up to headline.

Organiser Emily Eavis said: "Once we heard the sad news that Foo Fighters had been forced to pull out, there was only one person we wanted to call and that was Florence. Every time she has played here she's done something spectacular and we always knew she would headline the Pyramid one day. I'm delighted she's agreed to step up to it – she's going to smash it!"

By the way, if you're not heading to Glasto yourself this weekend, BBC will have coverage of the festival all weekend - so you can make like us and watch it from the comfort of your sofa.
