You might think that now, more than ever, would be a bad time to show support in any way, shape or form by people who have been not only accused but found guilty of sexual harassment.
Well, one radio station in Mississippi is apparently going by the adage 'No publicity is bad publicity' as they have hired David Mueller, the radio DJ best-known for groping Taylor Swift.
Mueller was found guilty in a civil trial of groping the star at a meet-and-greet during his time at a Denver station. The judge ordered that he pay Swift a symbolic $1, which he did - eventually.
Now, he has been employed by Kix 92.7 under the pseudonym 'Stonewall Jackson', and the news hasn't gone down well.
David Mueller (yes THE one who assaulted Taylor Swift) is now working again under the name Stonewall Jackson. THIS IS NOT OKAY. He was found GUILTY of sexual assault, so why does he deserve a ‘second chance’ why does anyone think anything about this is okay?? ITS NOT

So, David Mueller (THE David Mueller who grabbed @taylorswift13's bottom & then sent her a Sacagawea coin) is working in radio again, under the name Stonewall Jaxson. No, I'm serious. You know how many women are BLACKLISTED after coming forward about abuse/harrasment? All of them pic.twitter.com/OvgGrpBXuw

I know we joke around a lot here, but this time it's serious.
Don't ignore this because it involves Taylor Swift.
This is David Mueller. He was fired after sexually assaulting Taylor Swift.
He's working again, and could potential hurt more women. Hold him accountable. #TimesUp pic.twitter.com/XNEn4BBu0j— Na'ama (@Mind_Twist_You) January 30, 2018
I am disgusted that David Mueller was hired back at country radio. Unacceptable.

So far, Swift herself has not commented.
