They surprised everybody by reforming less than four years after their 'split up', but the promised comeback album by LCD Soundsystem has not been forgotten.
The New York band's have released three albums to date, with the most recent being 2010's 'This is Happening'. Their fourth was scheduled for release last year but has been delayed, with the band cancelling several tour dates at the end of the summer to continue recording.
Now, according to frontman James Murphy, it's nearly done, as he told a fan who asked about its progress on Facebook.
"Still working on it, but it'll be done soon," he wrote. "Winter tends to mess with my voice, so finishing the thing drags out."
In any case, we can expect to hear the album before 2017 is out.
