Having spent the last two years focusing on The Dead Weather, Alison Mosshart has returned to her main project, The Kills, who are set to release their new album in April.
Entitled 'Blood Pressures', the album will be the first album from Mosshart and musical partner Jamie Hince since 2008's 'Midnight Boom', making their fourth album overall. It was recorded in Michigan with engineers Bill Skibbe and Jessica Ruffins with extra production work from Dan Carey (Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip) before being mixed in London by Tom Elmhirst.
The track list for 'Blood Pressures' is as follows:
'Future Starts Slow'
'Satellite'
'Heart Is A Beating Drum'
'Nail In My Coffin'
'Wild Charms'
'DNA'
'Baby Says'
'Last Goodbye'
'Damned If She Do'
'You Don't Own The Road'
'Pots And Pans'
The news came via a post on The Kills' official website, where the duo also revealed, "Alison went through 52 blank cassette tapes in her 4-track recorder. Jamie bought 3 guitars and a mellotron, " before continuing to ramble about red wine and dogfood.
'Blood Pressures' is due for release in Ireland on April 1st.
