It's been a busy morning for gig announcements, with three very different acts lining up shows in Dublin this year.
The Black Crowes are reuniting to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album 'Shake Your Moneymaker'. Chris and Rich Robinson will play the album in its entirety at the 3Arena on October 10th; tickets are €49.50 and on sale from usual outlets this Friday, February 7th at 9am.
Meanwhile, dance-punks The Rapture will play their first Irish gig in eight years when they headline Vicar Street on July 3rd. The New York band reformed last year after a five-year hiatus, and the gig will see them play songs from all three of their albums. Tickets are €34.50 and on sale from usual outlets this Friday at 9am. The gig will be a late-evening show, with doors at 9pm and the band onstage at 11pm.
Finally, fans of Bob Dylan and The Band will be aware of The Live Last Waltz's reputation as a force to be reckoned with. The tribute show will return to Dublin's Olympia Theatre on April 30th. A 10-piece band, full brass section and all the special guests from the original concert film will take part in its re-creation. Tickets are €24 and on sale now.
