Evidently, Taylor Swift didn't consult the big book of Irish euphemisms when she announced her new EP, 'dropped your hand while dancing'.
Had she done so, would she have still gone ahead with it? Who's to say. The EP, which features a compilation of songs from her surprise-drop albums 'evermore' and 'folklore', went online earlier today.
The title of the EP doesn't come from the actions of hormonally-charged teenagers in the early '90s in local GAA discos - but rather a line from the song, 'Champagne Problems', which features on the EP and the 'evermore' album.
A very different song title in Ireland https://t.co/bu77IklX41

For confused Americans out there trying desperately to understand what it means, we'll point you towards Wikitionary because this is a clean, forthright website and we always leave room for Jesus when we're dancing.
Ahem.
