Suede played their first gig in seven years last night in London's 100 Club, a place they haven't played for 18 years. Some fans claimed to have parted with as much as £200 for a ticket to this intimate performance, a warm-up for Suede's upcoming benefit concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The material on the night was taken from all five Suede album. Before departing the stage, a visibly moved Brett Anderson told the crowd how much he loved the performance. "It's been beautiful", he said. "Let's do it again in another seven years".
