If you had a chance to see Fleetwood Mac at any point in the past, count yourself lucky - as it looks like the legendary band are officially done.

The band survived the loss of guitarist Lindsey Buckingham following his departure (or firing) in 2018 - but it seems that the death of Christine McVie in 2022 meant the end, according to Stevie Nicks.

The 76-year-old Nicks, who is currently touring solo and plays Dublin's 3Arena next month, told Mojo that there was "no chance" of Fleetwood Mac continuing without McVie.

"Without Christine, no can do," she said. "There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn’t work."

She added that even if she mended her broken relationship with Buckingham, who took several pot-shots at her following his firing in 2018, it would be even more unlikely, given his own health issues - including open heart surgery in 2019.

"Even if I thought I could work with Lindsey again, he’s had some health problems," she said. "It’s not for me to say, but I’m not sure if Lindsey could do the kind of touring that Fleetwood Mac does, where you go out for a year and half. It’s so demanding."

However, she does perform Fleetwood Mac songs in her solo repertoire, and fans can expect to hear a few of them in Dublin next month.

"When I walk onstage, I couldn’t be prouder of my band," she said. "I mean, I would rather not be freed up from Fleetwood Mac, because of Christine. But I’m in a place where I can concentrate on my solo work. I can do anything I want now, and not have to worry about stopping and going back to Fleetwood Mac…

"Fleetwood Mac is all over my set. Now that there is no more Fleetwood Mac, that opens the door for me to do other songs, like “The Chain,” that I’ve never done [solo]. I will keep the music of Fleetwood Mac alive for as long as I can."
