Blasting out onto the scene once again is Steps with a brand new comeback single and music video.
Claire Richards, Lee Latchford-Evans, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, and Ian "H" Watkins are all back with Steps new song, entitled 'What The Future Holds'. Gone are the days of '5, 6, 7, 8', with the pop group giving us a more grown-up (yet still incredibly cheesy) comeback track that fans are going to be thrilled to hear.
And that's not all of the Steps news that we've heard this week, with the pop group announcing that they'll be releasing a new album and embarking on a tour in the near future. The tour kicks off in late 2021, they will be supported by Sophie Ellis Bextor, and there's already a date lined up in Belfast.
Written by none other than Sia, their new track was gifted to group by the Australian songstress. Speaking to The Sun about how it all came about, Richards said: "She wrote the track for herself but realised it wasn’t really for her and gave it to us.
"It’s not like it was in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. It was her who said, ‘We should give this to Steps because it would really suit them’."
Here's the music video for 'What The Future Holds', which premiered earlier today.
Their forthcoming sixth (sixth!!) album will bear the same name as Steps new song and will be released on November 27.
