The Spice Girls are set to play at the Olympics closing ceremony this coming Sunday. Pictures taken by The Sun show Posh, Baby, Scary, Ginger and Sporty seen rehearsing on black taxi cabs at the stadium. This has confirmed speculation that the band would reform for a one off special.
Other acts that were photographed at the venue rehearsing include Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, George Michael, Annie Lennox and Kate Bush
Boyband One Direction also sparked rumours of a performance yesterday with a source saying the boys 'can't wait' to perform at the closing ceremony. Kaiser Chiefs, Madness and Queen guitarist Brian May are rumoured to be performing alongside the Pet Shop Boys who were pictured in winged rickshaws at the stadium while they rehearsed for the games finale.
The lavish affair is set to take place on Sunday 12th August, the musical director has promised it will be the ' greatest after-party in the world.'
