If you hadn't already guessed, we do love a good overprivileged rock star spat 'round these parts - and when they involve the whipping boys of the music scene Nickelback, it's usually even better.
Take, for example, that time that Royal Blood attempted to have a go at the Canadian rockers and were shot down in thrilling fashion.
Then there's the time that Chad Kroeger's ex-wife Avril Lavigne stepped in to defend his honour against Mark Zuckerberg, or even when Arnie himself tried to throw shade their way.
The latest 'handbags at dawn' scuffle involved Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor - although to be fair, it was Kroeger who started it by called Slipknot a 'gimmick' and Taylor's side project Stone Sour as 'Nickelback Lite', accusing Taylor of starting the band because he got 'tired of sitting behind a mask.'
Taylor responded by saying that Kroeger 'has a face like a foot'(!) and now has expanded on his feelings about the Nickelback frontman, saying in a new interview: "I don’t want to talk about that dickhead. Why do I give a shit about what Chad Kroeger says?”
"Chad Kroeger is to rock what KFC is to chicken. Is that wrong? I feel like I’m not wrong… I’ll still eat it but I’m not gonna feel good about it.”
