One of the UK's most revered bands The Specials will play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on 3rd November next and Belfast's Ulster Hall on the 4th.
This tour is (the slightly odd) commemoration of five years since the band reformed. I wasn't aware that these things got celebrated, but how and ever.
The Specials first formed in 1977 before calling it quits in 1984. They got back together again in 1996 until 2001 and since 2008 have been in the midst of their third wave as a touring act. Their latest incarnation has seen the Coventry band perform to hundreds of thousands of fans, both old and new, over the course of the last few years.
Tickets for the Dublin show are priced at €49.65, while the Belfast ticket prices are not currently listed.
