Sinead O'Connor announced Twitter last night that she has pulled out of the Marlay Park concert on Saturday, where she was to play support to Van Morrison and Tom Jones. O'Connor was only recently announced as surprise guest after Bobby Womack was forced to pull out of the gig due to ill health.
O'Connor was scheduled to perform with Don Baker but has cancelled, citing lack of rehearsal time as the reason. This is the latest setback from the MCD promoted gig. 10% refunds were offered when Womack cancelled but there is no word if MCD will take any action due to O'Connor's non-appearance.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Kasabian play Marlay Park this evening, with David Guetta performing on Friday.
I will now NOT be playing Marley Park on Friday with Don Baker, due to lack of time set aside for proper, professional rehearsals.
