Today marks a sad day for both Sinead O'Connor's family and for her fans.
The iconic Irish musician will be laid to rest today in a private Muslim ceremony following her conversion to Islam several years ago.
However, fans had the opportunity to say goodbye to her as her funeral cortege passed by her former home Montebello in Bray today.
The house, which is along the seafront of the Co. Wicklow town, was put up for sale two years ago and Sinead had been living in London when she died late last month.
Footage from the funeral cortege shows a huge number of fans lining the streets as a Bob Marley song plays over a loudspeaker from a VW van which drove in front of the hearse.
Some fans threw flowers on the hearse as others leaned forward to touch it as it passed.
In another clip, her hit 'Nothing Compares 2 U' is played and fans applaud as the cortege passes by.
