Sia has said that she has a full album of songs ready to be released.

The Australian singer said that she had not intended to continue releasing hew own material, but her recent explosion in popularity after the worldwide smash 'Chandelier' has encouraged her to continue.

She told NME that the album was called 'This Is Acting' and that her last record - '1000 Forms of Fear' - was only released because of contractual obligations.

"I was planning to be a pop song writer for other artists," she explained. "But my publishing deal was as an artist so I had to put one more album out. I didn't want to get famous so I kept all the songs I wanted and had a lot of fun making it.

"I'm super productive. I have a full album ready to go and it's much more pop," she said. "I'm calling it 'This Is Acting' because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn't go in thinking 'this is something I would say'. It's more like play-acting. It's fun."

Her new collaboration with Kanye West, 'Wolves', was released at the rapper's New York Fashion Week show last week, although it's not yet known if the song will be included on her new album. They performed it together on last weekend's 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live with co-collaborator Vic Mensa.
