Seth Troxler, one of the world's biggest DJs will launch the new look Academy in Dublin on Friday night. Troxler, who has been voted among the world's best DJs in a recent Resident Advisor poll, has ignited the world of house and techno for years and is set to christen the new venue with a gusto.
Having started DJing in his hometown of Detroit at just 16 of age, Seth quickly honed his craft and in the past few years seen him play at some of the top shows around the world such as Tonic, Tenax as well as being a resident at Berlin's legendary Club der Visionäre. This year Seth has teamed up with The Martinez Brothers to launch their new Tuskegee label, drawing attention on Afro-Latino American icons. In addition to this he’s currently plotting two additional new imprints called Soft Touch, focusing on indie rock, and Play It Say It, putting out straight up dancefloor jams.
